Hen party ideas in Barcelona: a jewelry-making workshop with friends
A relaxed, beautiful plan that stays with you: each of you creating your own piece with flowers and resin.
When it is time to plan a hen party, the same ideas almost always come up: dinner, drinks, a club. All fine, but there is a plan more and more people love: making something together with your hands and taking home a memory that lasts.
Why a workshop works so well
A resin jewelry workshop has what a hen party often lacks: time to talk, a calm pace and something beautiful at the end. No experience or skill is needed, and everyone finishes with a different piece made by themselves.
It also suits everyone: the bride, the most creative friend, the one who says she cannot draw, and the guests visiting from abroad. And it can be done in English or Spanish, which helps with international groups.
Ideas to make it special
- Something blue. The tradition says "something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue". A blue flower or detail set in the resin ticks that box with a lot of heart.
- Matching jewelry. Everyone picks their own shape but you all use the same color or flower, so you recognize each other as the bride's group.
- The bride's favorite flower. It can be the common thread across all the pieces.
- A gift for the bride. Together you can think of a piece for her, in colors she loves, to wear on the wedding day or keep.
- A memory with meaning. Each person can choose the colors and flowers that remind her most of the bride.
How to organize it, step by step
- Pick a date. Workshops run on Saturday mornings and afternoons, with other days on request.
- Message me with how many of you, the language and the date. I will tell you about availability and the venue, which depends on the group size.
- Book with a €10 deposit.
- Come, create and take your finished jewelry home. It lasts 2.5 hours.
How much does it cost
From €40 per person, materials included, for groups of 3 or more. If there are fewer of you, I can also suggest a class.
And after the workshop
After 2.5 hours at the workshop there is still time for the rest of the day: a snack, dinner or a walk around Barcelona. Often the best thing is to have the workshop first, when everyone is relaxed and in a good mood.
